I thought the "mesh" and visual overlays that people could see were interesting. I'm seeing that kind of thing show up in near-future fiction lately. And I really enjoyed Hacker's story, but would have liked to see more of it.kevbayerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16373805626724778955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-978162995184793824.post-7268244718724071072012-06-21T16:34:58.094-07:002012-06-21T16:34:58.094-07:00I'm nearly halfway through, and it seems that ...I'm nearly halfway through, and it seems that once Gerald went into quarantine with the rock, the monkey disappeared. Not only disappeared from the story, but apparently from Gerald's mind as well.

I will be VERY disappointed if it doesn't re-appear. Like the old screenwriter's rule...If you show it in the first act, you darn better use it in the third.

Have to say so far I'm not loving this book. The Rasta Dr Noozone has to be the most annoying character since Jar Jar Binks!Pamelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02853793959909472712noreply@blogger.com
